10 Unusual Things About Me Tag

Confession: I saw this tag circulating on Twitter and I was hoping someone would tag me for this because it is a brilliant idea. So, thank ye, Tiara @ MutedMouthful for making this unusual blogging dream come true! Here are my answers:

  1. I get premonitions, hunches and dreams that usually come true. I’ve foreseen accidents, friendship breakups, relationships coming together and even dreamt of places and locations which I’ve eventually visited (I have one more place to see if it happens). I’ve also received warnings in dreams to avoid certain places and travel routes and I ignored it two times and whaddya know? An attack and accident happened. And, no, they’re not coincidences… I just know.
  2. I write and eat with my right hand, but answer my phone and hold my bag with my left hand and arm. And type with two fingers.
  3. I find it difficult to stand still, so when I brush my teeth, I take a walk around the house, going up and down stairs, visiting the fridge, etc.
  4. I wasn’t expected to survive as a baby, so I was put in an incubator… and luckily, here I am! I guess I was the Sansa Stark of babies.

  5. I wear socks over my leggings and pyjama bottoms. I cannot tell you much this irritates my sister, but the comfiness is real!
  6. I am a milk before cereal convert.
  7. I read, understood and applied Machiavellian philosophy as a child. Thank God, I eventually developed a moral conscience.
  8. I love olives, tomatoes, mayonnaise, coconuts (including Bounty), fruit, Brussels sprouts, mushrooms, kale, cauliflower, broccoli, etc.
  9. I love phone calls and prefer them over text messages.
  10. I love dad jokes and puns and detest overly witty sarcasm, it feels far too pretentious and I just don’t get it.

bye

    1. Thank ya, once again, this was so much fun to do! ❤️

If something big is coming up, I will have a dream, including serious attacks, yes, those kinds, and once a foreboding for bus tragedy that was in the news. It’s both a blessing and a curse, but I read somewhere that it is supposed to indicate a truthful person, so I guess that’s nice! 🙂

      1. Spinette hates mushrooms. She likes them on pizza, but that’s the only way she finds them acceptable.
I love sending her pictures of mushrooms I find out in the wild. It’s evil of me, but it’s one of my favorite pastimes.

    1. Yeah, they are, especially the places I’ve dreamt of from the specific angle were so easy to discern when I finally saw them in real life. Overall, quite weird though, lol.

I looked up the reasons for it… and all it says is ADHD, LOL, I don’t think I’m hyperactive, but it might be something for you to look up (if you haven’t already)… just in case!

THANK YOU! Milk before cereal just tastes better!

      1. Wow, do you always know that they’re premonitions while you’re having them?

I’m 95% sure I don’t have ADHD, but I do have a lack of patience and want to do multiple things all at once. XD

  1. I never go against the premonition. Once I had the urge to suddenly stop on the side of the road. I left the road completely and as soon as I stopped a heavy truck came around the blind curve on my side of the road. Had I not listened to the urge to escape I would have been crushed by the truck.

    1. At least I’m not the the only one that have those feelings and usually I go against since I have to do things I’m forced to. The most recent one was having a weird feeling in the early morning knowing that my grandfather will survive the whole ordeal about his throat cancer.

      1. That sounds like quite a lovely premonition to have and I hope it’s come true. Really sorry to hear about your grandfather, I’ve found that grandparents are truly the best. ❤️

    2. I’ve learnt my lesson with the travel route thing, but it is quite annoying because that specific route is to get to my closest friends house! 🙁 It’s best to trust it, because I feel like it could not only harm our own selves, but other peoples as well. :/

  2. The premonitions thing was DEFINITELY the right one to put first – you have to keep going after reading something like that!

What I want to know is if you’re a person who waters their toothbrush before or after toothpaste has been applied. After that milk before cereal comment and mention of running around while brushing teeth, I need to know, haha!

Also, I love tag games, so I might do this one.

    1. I was debating putting it in, I thought people might be a little freaked out about me, but the response has calmed my nerves lol.

LOOOOOOOOL what??!!?! I don’t want to tell you now for fear of more judgement. 😰

Yes, do! I can’t wait to see your answers, I’m sure they’ll make me laugh as your comments always tend to make me do… and i know this sounds really weird, but can I ask what your MBTI type is? I’m intrigued!

    2. I find it difficult to separate my goals and what I *want* as a quiz result from what I actually do in real life. I can say that I value the precepts of INTJ the most, and I am reliably capable of getting that result by gaming my responses.

      1. I’m quite surprised by INTJ, but I can see it (despite the gaming the results)! I would have thought you were an xNTP (possibly ENTP) based on your humour.

Hmm, this is really interesting. I think I’ve just realised that INxJ’s have very well-developed social skills, probably better than some other types. Very interesting. 🤔

  3. It’s cool that you get premonitions. 🙂
I prefer phone calls myself. You can never really tell a persons mood from a text message and I never know how to end a conversation on text. For some reason I find it so much easier on the phone to just be like I got to go now k?

    1. I know, right? How many times have we had to clarify ourselves because of a text message and conflicts have arisen because of it with friends/family, I’d rather say it over the phone, more stress-free. 😰

Aha, I know this is going to sound mean, but I think if you don’t reply because you don’t know how to end it, people usually won’t mind too much or at all. Trust me!

  4. Omg I have prophetic baby dreams! I dreamt my sister was pregnant and bam! Months later she told us she was pregnant. I dreamt my bff was pregnant. And bam! She was pregnant with my godbaby haha.

I also put socks over leggings and pj’s. The comfort level is high, thank you very much.

And I also pour milk before adding cereal. I don’t drink milk so adding it first lets me add in as little as possible while still soaking lots of cereal in it haha.

Lmao this was a fun post! Really enjoyed it! 🙂

    1. You have the prophetic gene too! That’s so cool, I wonder if you knew and told them before they know? That would be a fun surprise. 🤭 I only have the prophetic baby dreams about my one aunt, just that one aunt, I wonder why my brain is fixated on that one aunt.

Exactly!!!!!!!! We’re bringing men’s medieval attire back. 😎

Paha, if there was one person I could count on to pour milk before cereal… it was you lol. 😂 but bro, why so little milk? Milk is delicious!

      Thank ya! ☺️

      1. No, I didn’t have a chance to tell them! Maybe you’re more attuned to her? Is she your favorite aunt??

Lmao! With fuzzy socks lol. Because I wear only fuzzy socks over my pj’s haha

Ew, milk is gross! Blegh. The less goes in my bowl, the better 🙂

        1. You might wanna do it… just to freak them out a little, lol. She’s lovely, my aunt, maybe not my favourite.

          FUZZY SOCKS. OMG. The best!!!!!!

Whaaaaat, milk is delicious! But to each their own, milk isn’t the most popular lol.

        1. You don’t like the premonitions when they show you what you don’t want to see. 😝 They are helpful in some ways, but I think if the cost is too great then it’s better to not take the risk for who knows who else it might negatively affect? 😞
